This past weekend the Montana State Bobcats traveled here to Kansas to play the Kansas State Wildcats. Even though they got stomped (I won't mention the score) it was awesome to get to see them play here. Ken graduated from Montana State in 1999 and I did my first year of college there before moving the Ft. Lewis, WA to be with Ken.
It was especially neat that Matthew's first football game was watching the Bobcats. We met at a bar in Aggieville (Manhattan, Kansas's "bar" district) on Friday night before the game with Bobcat fans and tailgated with them before the game.
There's also a guy that I grew up with, Brandon Stevenson, stationed here at Ft. Riley. His brother played football for the Bobcats and our parents have been friends for 20 plus years and they were all here for the game so that was pretty neat.
Ken also ran into some people he was in ROTC with at the tailgate. There was a pretty good crowd of MSU fans. My parents were here visiting so they got to go and it was Ft. Riley day at the game so there were a lot of military in attendance.
We did wear our blue and gold to this game but we'll be wearing our purple for the rest of the K-State games we go to!

Howdy Guys!
What a goodtime. I bet your Mom and Dad are having a wonderful time with you all. I'm sure Matthew is keeping Grandma really entertained.
We will have Grandma and Grandpa, Chris and his friend Dave here this weekend. Teresa's family will also be here for the High School Rodeo and NDRA finals rodeo. Tom is sitting pretty good in the team roping. Should be fun.
Have a good one. You are always in our thought and prayers.
Todd, Donna and Tim
