Happy New Year

I hope everyone had a great Christmas and wish everyone a wonderful 2009. We had an awesome Christmas back in Montana with Ken's family. We were there for almost 2 weeks and did nothing but relax. It was so nice to have nothing to do. Matthew had special time every morning with Grandma Phillips eating Cheerios in her bed and watching cartoons. Grandma and Grandpa spoiled him as grandparents are supposed to do! Matthew had a great time opening presents and was an old pro since he just had to do it for his birthday. He's also started walking so that is fun. He always takes off walking but ends up on his knees since he knows that's still the fastest way around. He's started to say a lot more words and likes to repeat what you say. His newest is "Oh my", it's so darn cute! While we were in Libby there was a TON of snow. Matthew got to go sledding twice and liked everything except the bundling up part. Once we got him outside he was fine.

We also got to see a lot of great friends while there. That's the nice part about being home for the holidays. We got to meet some new baby's and see how much our friends older kids have grown. This will probably be our hardest year yet with Ken deploying in the spring. Please keep him in your thoughts as he starts training next month and while he's gone. Happy 2009!
