The end of July my mom, Matthew and I traveled to Seattle. Ken's mom also met us out there. Her sister and niece live in Seattle and her mom lives about 2 hours south of Seattle. We had a great time together. My mom, Matthew and I stayed with Ken's cousin, April, her husband, Brian and their kids Sofia and Quinn. Linda, Ken's mom, stayed with her sister June. The photos were taken at the Ballard Beach. Puget Sound is so beautiful. While there we traveled south for a day so Matthew could meet his Great Grandma Pat and Great Grandpa Dennis, spent a day at the Seattle Children's museum, went to the Seattle Aquarium, Pike's Place Market and spent a lot of time visiting with family. We also spent a day at the Woodland Park Zoo. A great friend of mine, Diana, and her son Nicholas met us there. I met Diana over 8 years ago when Ken and I were stationed at Fort Lewis. We went to school together and have kept in touch. Her husband is in the Air Force and they're stationed in Spokane, WA. Diana's from Tacoma, WA, about 45 minutes south of Seattle. It was so sweet of her to come all that way to see us. Diana and I also got to enjoy an evening out minus our boys. It was great to get to chat and catch up. We had a wonderful trip but as always it was nice to get back home.
