Go Bluehawks!!

Matthew and I just got back from a 10 day visit to Montana. The main reason for us going was to watch my brother, Jordan, play football.

He's a junior and captain of the offensive line at Dickinson State University, Dickinson, ND. We were lucky enough to time it right to get to see two games. They played awesome both games and are now in the lead of their conference. They also were voted in the top 20 this week.

After watching the game on the 18th and spending the weekend in Dickinson we headed to Baker to spend the week. It was really nice spending time with family and catching up with friends. Matthew got showered with love and attention so I'm sure he's more rotten now than he was before. Jordan's game on the 25th was in Rapid City, SD so we headed there that morning. Ken had made the 10 hour drive from Kansas the day before so he could watch the game in Rapid. He'll be in Iraq during Jordan's senior football season so he wanted to be able to see him play one last time. Ken said it was pretty emotional watching knowing it was the last time he'd get to see Jordo play. That night the whole family, which includes my parents, my sister Ashlee and her husband Neil, Jordan and his girlfriend Ashley, and our little family of three spent the night in Deadwood, SD. Grandma stayed at the hotel with Matthew while the rest of us hit the town. Deadwood is a traditional old western gambling town in the Blackhills of South Dakota. The next morning we all headed our separate ways back home. We had a great visit and already miss everyone a lot!!
